Foreign credential evaluation services provided by individuals with proper expertise in the field of education and international studies.

Foreign credential evaluation service is a required service for any educated person of a foreign country who wishes to come to the United States to further his/her education or to work in his/her field of study. Various countries around the world have different systems of education. As a result, it is mandatory for this educated person to have his/her educational background formally evaluated for the purposes of education, employment and immigration.

People who wish to to enter and live in the United States for the purpose of work require work related visas to do so. These people are usually professionals (like nurses or physical therapists for instance) who will obtain gainful employment in their field of study. They must get their foreign credentials assessed in terms of American educational standards.

Our company provides 3 types of foreign credential evaluation reports:

1) Document-by-document evaluation report which states the US equivalence of the evaluated credential. This type of evaluation usually states the level of education and the number of years completed without mentioning any courses taken, marks received or grade point average (GPA). This report is usually needed when credits and courses that were previously taken by the applicants are not of any relevance.

2) Course-by-course evaluation report is usually a much detailed report. It states everything that is stated in the document-by-document report plus the courses that were taken by the applicant, the marks that he/she received along with their US credit equivalence and GPA. This report is usually needed when the applicant is transferring credits for the purpose of continuing his or her education usually at the college/ University level.

3) Education and Work Experience Evaluation report is usually used for immigration and employment purposes. This report follows the immigration rule (also known as the “three-for-one” rule) whereby work experience can be substituted for a shortfall in higher education. This is a rule by which three years of specialized training and/or work experience may be substituted for each year of college-level education the applicant lacks. In short, for the purpose of evaluation, work experience could be added to incomplete university work or completely replace it in certain situations to achieve a specific objective.
